Plot

The tale begins as Casey Jones tells a story about how he used to run with four brothers, street fighters, who used go up against a gang called the Foot. A member of his audience says they heard of the Foot and that they were bad guys in their day. Casey agrees that they were bad, but his group was badder. His point is that there is always someone badder. Someone will always come along who's got more juice, bigger muscles, better moves, or more lethal weapons.

He says real life isn't like the movies because in real life people get busted up. As he's telling the story, a flashback plays of a fight Casey and the Turtles had against a group ofFoot Ninjas. Casey adds that sometimes these people get busted up for good. One of the listeners asks if that means dead, and Casey answers that it happens. When it does, then what do you have?

It is revealed that Casey is speaking to a classroom of teenagers. One of them answers Casey's question with, "Nothing?". Casey replies that's right, and that they have everything right now, if they know what he's saying. A girl figures out that he means they have their whole lives ahead of them. Casey replies, "Damn straight."
